BG: Princess Sashi Mananoke was a child born from a forbidden love between a queen and a thief. The thief, her father had held the Queen of the country of Tokoname for several years, during this time the love between the two grew.
By the time Sashi was 3 the royal guards had found there location and took the queen back against her will, leaving Sashi and her father, Usui Mananoke with minor injuries but all alone. Usui made a vow to his daughter that they would see her again and from 3 to 10 Sashi was taught in the ways of stealth and of a variety of other weapons. The queen, Momoko Tayome longed to get her daughter and husband back, and so set her guards out peacefully to bring them back.

When the guards arrived however, the king at the time ordered them to kill all of the thieves. As her father was fighting off the guards he told Sashi to run away and hide, and she had done so for several days among the trees. When she returned she had found that her father and her other companions had been killed and the guards had left. After burying the group, Sashi salvaged what she could and set off on her mission: she would travel to her mothers kingdom and tell her what had happened. For the past 6 years Sashi has been traveling to that kingdom, and she will do so until she is once again safe in her mothers arms as her father had vowed.
